Hot chai, hot chocolate, hot art. The Magpie’s big opening this weekend.
That’s what you’re getting this Saturday as outside the Picton Street Xmas street fayre goes.
The Magpie has cleaned up its act, whitewashed its walls and hoovered the carpets. As the greenwash spills like a toxic waste dump in Copenhagen, come in for free and soak up some non-commercial creativity.
Outside in the courtyard there are stalls offering commercial delights such as mistletoe, holly, cider, fabrics, woolie garments and all amnner of handmade, recycled winter TING.
Above from the bay doors will be performances from resident poets and prankstas: the Synchromystickz
The exhibition inside will continue all week, please come and see us.
